Run towards the finish line, can you move as fast as Sonic in Sonic Runners Adventure? The blue blur is back in the game with Sonic Runners Adventures. This is a game that is easy to master - all you need to do in the game is to jump at the right time. The characters run forward on their own, and you jump to attack enemies, avoid obstacles and get rings. When you start, the game gives you a tutorial on what Sonic can do. In the first few chapters, the game pops up guides to teach you how to navigate the game during a run. When you close the window, the game gives you a 3 second countdown before Sonic starts running again. You tap once on the screen to jump, tap 3 times to activate the triple jump. Sonic has to jump to roll into a ball to attack the enemy. You have to reach some rings by jumping as well. There are platforms you can jump on, but if you miss, the lower levels still have rings you can collect. But you cannot turn around to collect them anymore. Once you reach the end by flipping the red Eggman picture to blue Sonic one, the story begins. There are 3 types of play in the game: Finite, Loop Level, Infinite and Timed Mode. Finite is the most common level, where Sonic or his friends make their way towards the finish line (the flip board) to win. In Loop Level, your characters have to go around the course at least twice before the finish board appears. In the Finite Loop, your first loop appears as tiny stars as you do your second loop, and the rings do not regenerate. Infinite Mode allows you to keep playing until you collect all the orders or until you lose a life. Timed Mode are simply Bonus Levels where you can collect as many rings as you can before the time runs out. Rings are your protective shield and currency in Sonic Runners Adventure. When you hit an enemy or spiky ball, you will lose your Rings. You have to collect more fast, because if you get hit without a Ring you will lose a life. You can use Rings to unlock characters, buddies and boosters. You can have up to 2 different buddies, so you have extra effects like boosters lasting longer or helping you keep your rings. Some buddies unlock at certain levels or chapters, while most you will have to buy with Rings. There are 4 types of boosters you can buy, but only 2 have to be activated manually. Sonic has a lot of friends in Sonic Runners Adventure, while you start the game with Sonic, you will have access to other characters in the game as you play along. Tails and Knuckles are the two favourites that you can unlock in the game. Other characters like Shadow, Espio and Rouge will need Rings to buy. The characters split into 3 types: Speed, Fly and Power. Speed characters like Sonic, Espio and Shadow can do triple jumps; Fly characters like Tails, Charmy and Rouge can fly short distance; Power players can dash forward to break blocks and smash enemies. Then you have the teams: Hero, Chaotix and Dark. Our Team Hero members are Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, picking them will give you chance to trigger Magnet and Invincibility boosters during the run, the boosters are active for a short while, pending on your buddy. Team Chaotix: Espio, Charmy and Vector will allow you to convert 30% of your Rings to x10 rings for a short time. This is great if you know you are nearing a Star Pole and you can bank them.
